Nigeria’s former ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Alhaji Hassan Ardo, has criticized Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, saying President Bola Tinubu’s visit exposed his administration’s failures.
Ardo, who was the pioneer Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state stated this in an interactive session with Journalists in Jalingo on Thursday.
The former Envoy noted that the President, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, had no projects to commission, except a renovated airport built over a decade ago.
Ardo lamented that Governor Kefas has no people-oriented projects to show after two years in office.
He said instead, the Governor focuses on luxurious projects like renovating government houses and lodges.
Ardo highlighted the neglect of critical infrastructure, citing the collapsed Namnai bridge, which has been under reconstruction limbo despite promises.
Ardo called on President Tinubu to intervene and address the hardships faced by Taraba residents due to poor governance.
He therefore, urged the President to consider special interventions to ameliorate the suffering of the people under Governor Kefas’ administration.
