The All Progressives Congress (APC), Jigawa State Chapter, has cautioned individuals from making disparaging remarks about the government of Mallam Umar Namadi.
The release was made available over the weekend by the party’s Secretary, Muhammad Dikumu Umar.
He said the party expressed concern over recent media outcries that aimed at tarnishing the government’s image and disrupt the peace in the state.
According to him, these voices lack a clear understanding of governance and are deliberate attempts to create disharmony.
Dikumu warned that any further attempts to throw the government into ridicule, disrepute, contempt, or blackmail would be met with swift and clear responses, including legal actions.
He emphasized that Governor Namadi and the Minister of Defence are in good accord and friendship, working towards promoting Jigawa State to excellence.
He therefore urged all voices to focus on creating a positive atmosphere of freedom, liberty, and progress in Jigawa State, allowing the dividends of democracy to be fully explored and exploited.
