Coalition throws it’s weight behind Jigawa State Govt to construct 1000 shops at FARM Centre Kano for the commercial purposes and economic generation.
This was disclosed by Comrade Muhammad Misba’u Bashirka, on behalf of the Civil Society Coalition on Security Peace and Conflict Resolition in a press conference held on Friday at the NUJ State Secretariat, Dutse.
Recently the Jigawa State Executive Council has approved for the construction of 1000 commercial shops at its land located at Farm Centre, in heart of Kano city.
But some individuals in the state had rejected and criticized the idea, saying the shops should be constructed in Dutse, the state capital.
“Following extensive and careful consultations with the diverse range of experts, community leaders, and critical stakeholders in the state.
“We want to inform the good people of Jigawa state that our government has made an informed, strategic, and most importantly, responsible decision to utilize this vital asset for the collective good,” he stressed.
