The Emir of Kazaure, Dr. Najib Hussaini Adamu, has cautioned pilgrims against prioritizing material pursuits, such as “diamond teeth,” over spiritual supplications during their Hajj pilgrimage.
Instead, he encouraged them to focus on seeking divine intervention and blessings from the Almighty Allah while in the holy land.
This was contained in press release sent by Habibu Yusuf Babura, the Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board (JSPWB) in Madina, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Emir praised the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board (JSPWB)’s officials for their prompt action in thwarting a fraud syndicate selling diamond teeths in the city of Madina.
He also advised pilgrims to consult their centre officers and clerics before engaging in any activities during their stay in the Holy Land.
He said by seeking guidance, pilgrims can ensure a spiritually fulfilling experience.
Habibu also said JSPWB has successfully foiled an attempt to defraud pilgrims in Madinah by exposing exorbitant prices for gold and silver teeth.
“The board’s intervention prevented third-party agents, disguising themselves as Hajj guides, from charging pilgrims excessively high prices.
“Under the leadership of Director General Alhaji Umar Ahmed Labbo, the JSPWB remains committed to ensuring the welfare of Jigawa State pilgrims in Nigeria and the Holy Land.
“The board’s prompt action has protected pilgrims from potential financial exploitation,” he stressed.
